Just a retired guy in the Colorado mountains that can’t believe what is happening these days. So tired of all the stupid in the world.

Oven won't properly ignite, keeps cutting out, it's only eight years old. Repair technician comes out and diagnosed the problem in minutes. It's a small, inexpensive part that can be easily swapped out. Repair guy looks up ordering the part.
Samsung no longer makes the part, nor does any third party.
So I have to buy a brand new stove.
VAFFANCULO!!!

@RaminNasibov If you were smart and pull the plug not the cable this wouldn’t happen. I can’t remember the last cable I threw away for any reason beside it becoming obsolete.

@MmisterNobody Oh boo hoo, this generation ever do anything but whine? When I was a kid we had nuclear drills at school, I worked long hours and many 7 day weeks as I came up in the company. I had plenty of vacations skied, camped and had parties with my friends. Grow up.

@AntiLeftMemes Well then I guess Biden was never my president using this complete lack of brains thinking.
English

@harryjsisson Because them balancing a budget isn’t a miracle like it is in a Democrat city, and done without gimmicks and deferred debt.
English

You will never hear about this from Republicans because it completely shatters their narrative.

🚨 JB Pritzker announces that the Illinois budget is now completely balanced.

@otokyo Since I would have to install it to uninstall it I’ll say no.

@Demo4fhs It matters what other things you are spending on instead of groceries.

@ShannonG747 @thehealthb0t The real issue isn’t normal day to day healthcare it’s the catastrophic events that are the true danger insurance is really designed to cover. Pre ACA you could get a low cost high deductible medical plan that had a $9000 out of pocket max but the payment was affordable.
English

I’ve been debating with my husband for over a year about canceling our family’s insurance. It’s just not affordable anymore, and we barely use it anyway. Between the sky high deductible and all the other out of pocket costs, it still feels unusable unless it’s a true emergency. On top of that, after everything with COVID, I’ve lost all trust in the medical system here; prescriptions, vaccines, doctors, the whole setup. I stay home with the kids so I see more of what’s really going on behind the scenes.
The big struggle is the traditional fear of “We must have it as responsible parents in case of a serious issue that could bankrupt us.” But the flip side is that this whole system often feels like a rigged middleman scam. You pay massive premiums every month (that the insurance companies win on whether you use it or not), and when you do need care, the negotiated rates, denials, and remaining bills can still crush you. Many people end up paying less overall by going cash pay/self pay; hospitals frequently offer big discounts to uninsured patients, and you avoid feeding the premium machine year after year. We’re in limbo, but the numbers just don’t add up for us anymore. No one can sustain this.

Family health insurance quote for 2026 (Bronze Saver Plus):
• $2,094 per month
• $27,229 per year
• $13,000 deductible
• $20,300 max out-of-pocket
No one can afford this.
The Affordable Care Act has destroyed American healthcare.
“This cannot be real. How are families supposed to get medical care?! This is insane.”
English

@thehealthb0t Ask the Democrats that passed Obamacare ( the AFFORDABLE Care Act ) it’s all on them.
English

@nicksortor @KPBeachGirl About time. I’ll wager the real paid troublemakers were warned and cleared out ahead of the busses arrival.
English

@iboholmes That’s like asking why a gallon of oil doesn’t weigh a pound.
Is this posts sole purpose to spark even more hate among the people.
English

@amazing_physics Because it’s a nuclear reaction not oxidation.
English

@RepJeffries Liar, the laughably named affordable care act aka Obamacare is what cause insurance prices to skyrocket. It was created and passed 100% by Democrats only. Take credit for your creation rather than try to blame it on Republicans you absolute fool.
