The Alton Towers app has been updated to indicate the return of staggered openings, with Galactica, Spinball Whizzer, TH13TEEN, The Curse at Alton Manor, Cuckoo Cars Driving School and The World of David Walliams all now opening at 11am as opposed to alongside the park at 10am.

The Rock’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith closure shenanigans this evening 🎸 In a crazy turn of events, the extended queue created today. The doors were closed early at 8:58. Nobody extra was admitted after that point. The end of line sign game ensued inside the enclosure. People held to the side while waiting, people pushed to the back of the line after the line was set up. People fought to be the last. The result was the same. Chaos..
