@ComicsJacks @fandompulse He's making the same analogy. Colbert is a good writer. Dixon is coming at this from an ideological perspective. To compare talent, Dixon has undermined his by going to AI. Its a hack move, so directly related to his definition of talent. His book looks like shit.

Chrissie has just reached step 10! TRASHCAST incoming! She probably didn't have much in the way of DMs with Throat Goat Ethan Van Sciver, so he can't really do "Chrissie Mayr Files" but he can probably get a couple streams of content with a new person to feed to his gremlins.

Indie comics is full of weird people. I've run into multiple people who I don't interact with, and they have me blocked. Sometimes people I've bought books from. Blockchains, I assume, but even so it's like what the heck. There's a lot of catty behavior, plotting against each other and generally worrying way too much about group identity and allyship. It's the kind of crap we used to associate with SJWs. Be an individual and treat others as individuals. There's still a few bright spots here and there but increasingly I find myself pushed away from all of it.

I've stopped even trying to orange pill people into Bitcoin and life is way better. The 0.5% to 1% ask me about it and then I'll happily share my thoughts. The other 99.5% are the permanent underclass as of 2026.
