While I respect Andy a lot, I will never buy into the whole “2-3 years left” doomerism mindset. I’m an eternal optimist. Is the world changing quickly? Yes Will opportunities disappear? Absolutely But there is always a bull market somewhere The government prints trillions and that money has to go somewhere. You just have to figure out where it’s going and be there. Back in the day, your parents told you to stick to one path, one industry, one job etc. But this doesn’t work anymore. What works is right skills, right network, and right awareness. It’s understanding how and when to pivot, and having the skills and network to do it. A mortgage banker in 2006 would’ve made millions up until the crash, but not after. But he could’ve still used his skill for sales in solar or private lending after 2008 and done just fine. In 2026, if you haven’t noticed already, tons of capital is pouring into these industries: - peptides - AI - data centers - space exploration - Military contracting - prediction markets - inbound call centers While many of these do have a higher barrier to entry, as long as you know how to make someone else money (sales, marketing, operations, etc) you will always be able to create opportunity for yourself
