Andy Burnham said nothing when Keir Starmer said Israel had the right to cut off water, food and electricity to Gaza.
He refuses to call it a genocide.
He refuses to back an end to all arms sales to Israel.
He refuses to commit to arresting Israeli war criminals if they set foot on British soil.
He refuses to support the deproscription of Palestine Action.
The nice guy act and mealy-mouthed words don’t cut it when, as Prime Minister, he will be complicit in the genocide of the Palestinian people.
Our movement will not stop until Palestine is free, from the river to the sea.

I'm gobsmacked that some in the media are defending Farage for calling this by-election. That shows either a lack of political understanding or ridiculous levels of partisan bias, perhaps both? There are no legitimate reasons for calling it, other than Farage saving his own skin.

David, the Marieha Hussain case ended in an acquittal. The court did not criminalise political speech because language can be offensive without being unlawful. In a democracy, we don't police words simply because they offend politicians.

During the local elections, a Green councillor in Lewisham described myself and the Shadow Home Secretary as “coconuts”. The Green Party looked the other way, kept the candidate in post and even rewarded that candidate with a council job. This sort of racism has no place in our politics or in our society.
