@CouncilRepublic Yep. It’s often a false assumption, and even in cases where it’s not, the way people go about it often wouldn’t be helpful for those who do struggle with low self-worth and would need to take steps to improve that… Hopefully the steps you’re taking work well for you.

…I do find it a little bit funny that SOME people call every man who claims that his height or physical appearance prevents him from finding a girlfriend an incel and, as such, insists his personally must be abhorrent (when it could simply be too much inhibition even if it is his personality is presenting a significant issue), but when someone, especially a woman, talks about her experience with being treated differently before/after weight loss/gain, or a “glow up” in general, pretty much nobody doubts this experience. I don’t agree with misogyny or sexual entitlement regardless, but you can’t really be surprised when these guys become bitter… I actually think that the overfocus on personality and the denial of lookism (which has impacted both men and women, albeit differently, such as in the form of the fat acceptance movement which pretty exclusively targeted women and left many overweight women feeling misled) is partially why looksmaxxing, especially the more extreme “looks above everything” sentiment, has become as mainstream as it has, with another significant contributing factor being that women are now free to choose a man who she wants to be with, or choose to be single. Men are not used to being the product. The prize. An option.

@mangobunnn @Eli_B_Again The manospehere propagates itself is by cherry picking women being awful toward men. Often completely fabricated stories or staged videos. They build up an ugly perception of women that way. Focusing too much on manospehere men does the same thing to women but targeting men.

Part of the reason I stopped engaging with manosphere guys (and I think other women should be cognizant of this) is that it's very hard to not develop negative views of men if you're constantly exposed to the lowest subset. Eventually you will start to see them as representative

Way more taxes are spent on things that don't benefit 99% of citizens: $181 billion every year in direct cash outlays to private businesses. $34 billion to Israel and more to come

@CouncilRepublic @ShadowbanSlam @RealPostFolder True, they do pay substantial taxes. Somewhere between 30-100 Billion. Only issue is they cost the system significantly more, with a net cost of about 150-180 billion annually.
