One common feature in western empire propaganda is that we are always given reasons for the empire's violence, while the violence of those who resist the empire gets framed as happening for no reason at all.
We've all been fed reasons for the US-Israeli war on Iran, and we all know what those reasons are. Even less-informed members of the western public have heard something about the Iranians being a nuclear threat, having a tyrannical government, and maybe something about sponsoring terrorist groups.
But the so-called "peaceful protesters" who were killed in an uprising fomented and facilitated by the United States? They were killed for no reason, simply because the Iranian government is evil and hates dissent. All the Iranian police officers who died in the uprising perished for no reason, perhaps of natural causes. It is only by pure coincidence that this happened at the exact same time the US empire was making the decision to try to topple the Iranian government.
We've all been given the official reasons why Israel has spent years blanketing the Gaza Strip with military explosives: Israel was attacked by Hamas on October 7 2023, so it needs to get rid of Hamas for its own security.
But why did the Hamas attack happen? It happened for no reason. If you look to the propagandists in the western press for answers, October 7 happened solely because Hamas are evil and wanted to kill Jews because of their religion. Absolutely no mention of Israel's savage treatment of Palestinians for generations, or the dreadful living conditions imposed upon the giant concentration camp that Gaza had become.
We've been told why the western empire is pouring weapons into Ukraine: Ukraine was invaded by Russia. The empire wants to protect the freedom and democracy of the Ukrainian people, and to deter future expansionism by Vladimir Putin.
Why did Russia invade Ukraine? No reason. Putin's just evil and hates freedom, that's all. Sure, countless western experts and analysts had been warning for years that NATO aggressions were going to lead to a war on Russia's border, but they were just rambling lunatics whose forecasts of war were proven correct by pure coincidence.
Our entire understanding of history is framed in this way. Fidel Castro killed people in Cuba. Why did he kill them? No reason; he was just a mean jerk. All the violence of the socialist revolutionaries around the world overthrowing the abusive governments which preceded them is framed as causeless genocidal carnage inflicted by murderous tyrants who simply loved killing people. The desperation caused by the capitalist exploitation that had been imposed upon those populations is completely redacted from our history books.
A mature understanding of our world begins with a curiosity about why the violence is happening. Violence is not always justified, but there is always a reason why it happens. Western pundits, politicians and newscasters will very seldom tell you what those reasons are unless it advances the interests of the western empire, so if you want to have a truth-based understanding of what's really going on in our world, you need to actively seek out the answers for yourself.

@JasonHarmon2 @Microinteracti1 Football is the most popular sport worldwide outside of north America, the world cup attracts millions from around the globe, not the locals. Trump's regime has managed to inadvertently sabotage the easiest and biggest money making event in the world. It mostly hurts the US.
English

@Microinteracti1 Or soccer sucks and few people in USA care about the World Cup.
English

The United States is so toxic on the world stage right now that it can’t fill hotels or sell World Cup tickets.
Let that land.
FIFA projected $30.5 billion in economic impact from millions of international visitors.
That demand never showed up.
Hotels in Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Philadelphia and San Francisco have slashed match-day rates by a third from their peak.
FIFA has cancelled tens of thousands of reserved rooms across all 16 host cities.
Some hotels report cancellation rates above 95%.
The reasons aren’t hard to find. Anti-American sentiment. Fear of border crossings. The Iran war driving up oil prices and airfares. And tickets priced into the stratosphere, with finals seats hitting $10,990 a pop.
Industry executives are now openly blaming the Trump administration for the shortfall.
Tourism economists say the Iran war made an already bad sentiment problem worse.
Empty stadiums are now a real possibility.
It happened at the Club World Cup last summer.
It could happen again, on American soil, at the biggest sporting event on the planet.
The White House says this will be “the greatest World Cup ever.”
The market disagrees.

Last night, petrol bombs were thrown at Finchley Reform Synagogue in London. Mercifully, the bottles didn't ignite, and, on this occasion, there was little damage and no injuries, but the evidence of yet more anti-Jewish hatred could not be clearer. We are a resilient community and we will never succumb to fear and intimidation.

🏙️ A man decides to finally drone-map one of the wealthiest and most private cities in America — North Oaks, Minnesota, the only unmapped city left in the country.
After he posts the footage, the city sends him a legal letter accusing him of invading their privacy and telling him never to return.
He then discovers something that completely flips the script: the city has been using Flock surveillance cameras at every single entrance and exit, tracking every vehicle that comes and goes.
This double standard launches him into a two-month deep dive into America’s massive surveillance system.
In the end, he removes all his Street View images from Google Maps — except for one drone selfie of himself — and immediately re-uploads the rest to an open-source mapping platform.
These kinds of privacy hypocrisies always reveal the real story.

@DesireeAmerica4 If I was on the road and I had to choose and swerve to avoid running over either the chihuahua or this deranged subhuman, I'd protect the canine 10 times out of 10 without hesitation.
English

He’s going to jail for beating up his own Chihuahua.
Florida man Kyle Nesbitt got arrested after his dog peed on the bed.
Instead of just cleaning it up like a normal person, he allegedly beat the little Chihuahua so bad the sheriff’s office had to put out bodycam video of him being walked into jail.
The dog (named Bear) is alive but clearly messed up in the photos they released.
Look... animal abuse is disgusting. No one’s defending that.
But here’s the debatable part: this guy is now facing felony charges and jail time… over a dog. In some states animal cruelty laws are stricter than they are for certain human-on-human assaults.

🚨 THE TRUTH ABOUT THE MINAB SCHOOL IS EXPOSED!
The Islamic Republic converted a school in Minab into a barracks, where over 120 schoolchildren were killed as human shields.
A brave citizen from Minab shared this video and photos after finally gaining internet access following 46 days of blackout. The regime built a guard tower and converted parts of Shajareh Tayyebeh School into a military position.
An IRGC Navy guard tower stands in the middle of the school courtyard. Does this look like a place of education or a military barracks?
The child-killing Islamic Republic regime is solely responsible for the slaughter of these children.
Will undercover Islamic Republic supporters now condemn this brazen use of human shields?
