@redheadranting We are out soon. We will not spend our retirement here. MN has taken enough of our money and lately it looks like it has not been spent wisely. Too much fraud and incompetence in government.

I love Minnesota, it's beautiful and I don't want to leave. My family is here, my memories are here. I was driving into town this evening as the sun was setting over the cathedral - a stunning image. If you look beyond the trash that covers the ground, the peeling paint and rust on the bridges, the graffiti, the homeless, the vacant buildings, the grass and weeds that haven't been cut in ages and the general decline caused by poor management and budgeting - you can still see the beauty of this state. It's there, it can come back, but I don't know if it will in my lifetime. I think I just have to accept Minnesota as it is. There are too many liberal/progressives/people who vote blue no matter who in this state. And they don't seem to mind the decline. The Republicans don't have what's necessary to turn this thing around. A fed up Democrat is probably our only hope.

@GrageDustin Can they do the paid leave program next. My guess is they are not requiring the necessary paperwork to legitimized the leave.
