Is there a breakdown of what we give and what they get for it or buy with our money Or does it just go into the abyss and we just have to take their word for it that it’s being spent appropriately? I wrote a piece yesterday how asylum seekers identities are protected under Irish law even when they commit heinous crimes. In rape or attempted rape cases which it is alleged that has happened in this case the perpetrator identity is normally withheld unless the victim gives up their right to anonymity, How ever in this case the mother of the teenager posted not alone that the attack occurred but also a picture of the perpetrator. So the big question is why is his identity being protected ? I will enclose my piece from yesterday to explain why. It is interesting to note that the mental health card is already being played, But then again it is always played in cases like these where the even suggestion of mental health would be dismissed if the perpetrator was irish. Man (27) charged with alleged burglary and sexual offence in Dunshaughlin A 27-year-old man has appeared before Navan District Court charged in connection with an incident in Dunshaughlin two days ago. The accused, who can't be named for legal reasons, was charged with alleged burglary and trespass with intent to commit an arrestable offence, rape at Lagore Lawns, Dunshaughlin. Detective Garda Shane Dervan gave evidence of having arrested the accused. Judge Eirinn McKiernan remanded the accused custody to Trim District Court next week. The judge directed that the accused receive urgent medical and psychiatric treatment while in custody.
