Where do we stand today? The launch of The PYTH DAO Treasury, which will be funded by revenue from Pyth products: - Entropy - Core (Just Price Feeds) - Express Relay - Pyth Pro (60% of revenue) *plans for annual revenue from Pyth Pro - minimum $50M from a market with an annual volume of $50B What’s next? Formation of The PYTH Reserve 33% of The PYTH DAO Treasury will be allocated to buy back $PYTH tokens from the market. Is this a lot? ~$10 million for annual token buybacks looks pretty solid, but this is still just the beginning. The formula is simple: More Customers - More Revenue - More PYTH Purchased - More Value. And so on. This is Phase 2. What’s next? Phase 2: rewrite the market data economy on a global level Phase 1 was focused on infrastructure build-out. Phase 2 proved meaningful monetization. Pyth Reserve is a major victory, but job's not finished.

The first officially licensed S&P 500 perpetual contract is live on @tradexyz. Trade[XYZ] uses Pyth's proprietary composite feed to power the extended session pricing. The S&P 500 perp trades nearly around the clock, from Sunday 6PM ET to Friday 5PM ET. But the cash index only publishes during regular U.S. market hours. Outside that window, traditional data goes dark. Pyth fills that gap. The EMM6/USD feed is a composite price built from real futures trading activity, contributed by the firms trading these contracts. Upstream pricing from market participants. Continuous pricing. Onchain.

Easy to look at something like this and assume $HYPE is overpriced or due for a pull back. While revenue might be down, the real story is how this revenue is being generated and it’s mostly due to a massive influx of trading from traditional markets. Tradfi interest in onchain trading has never been higher. You can bet the recent S&P 500 perps and 24/7 OIL index announcements from @tradexyz and @PythNetwork respectively will throw even more fuel on the fire. Once crypto is up and firing again we are going much much higher.

@Tony_mzl @PythNetwork The difference is that Pyth Pro was more focused on crypto + - easy challenge Pyth Pro X is more geared towards RWAs, commodities (oil), equities and other - more difficult
