There is no way they actually removed 5v5 qp for this... Im really trying to stay positive but i cant, why do i even keep buying skins when i cant even play the game anymore, i do not like 6v6 and id rather not play at all than play that, this is not the game i fell in love...

I've seen other players talking about how much tank sucks, content creators talking about it, and pro players talking about it. Even if you disagree with 6v6 you gotta admit something needs to be done

@ImFrancoSun @RibbityFrogger Now I doubt you even play this game, which if that's the case just pipe down and let the real playerbase sort this out. Bottom line is tank sucks to play as-is so they need to do something about it. To say otherwise is just ignorant.

@ImFrancoSun @RibbityFrogger Reality check for you. Less people want to play tank rather than the other roles in every game. That's just how it is. The best a game can do is make as enjoyable as they can to play the role so at least someone plays it. 5v5 is not enjoyable for tank. End of story.

@RibbityFrogger Brother, double shield died in 2020 and people still did not want to play tank. Remember extra coins? Or priority tickets?

@AbbyAZK I think 5v5 at its core causes Overwatch to lose its secret sauce (or at least a lot of the flavor that secret sauce had) that makes OW feel so unique and not just like another CoD clone. There's a lot more to it but I love the team based aspect of OW with all it's goods and bads

Funny to see a lot of new and returning players hating the 5v5 formatting, never have i seen these many forum posts tearing it apart. :)

@GetQuakedOn Agree. They feel like 2 separate games. 5v5 is more deathmatchy and everything just feels like different versions of dps. The other is far more team based where each role has a specific job to do and they all need to come together in order to make the team work. I want OW not CoD

for any 5v5 gamers, you have to get used to 6v6 before you can see why it's better. Give it one season of constant playing. once you go back to 5v5 you will see how bad it actually is.

@six_cyx Totally agree! The original game settled on that format for a reason. Every role actually feels like it has its own job to contribute rather than all of them just feeling like different versions of DPS. It makes it feel less deathmatchy and more like the team based shooter it is!

5v5 is Overwatch Lite 6v6 is true Overwatch. Play true Overwatch.

It’s actually quite simple 6v6 Overwatch tanks> Rivals 2+ tanks> 5v5 Overwatch tank> Rivals solo tank

@OW_SVB Not to mention switching is a must for Overwatch I think. It's kind of like changing your loadout in other games.

We're gonna have a BIG problem if something isn't done abt counter-picking I'm telling you rn: post-Ramattra when we go months without a new tank, no one is going to want to play the role when 'counter-pick their tank till they swap or lose' is now the easiest way to win a game
