Talk about great timing and wonderful coincidences. PCSO deputies were looking for 36-year old Timothy Steven Kintz from Bartow on Saturday night, April 4th, a little before midnight. Kintz had pending criminal charges against him from an April 3rd incident in which he had reported to his probation officer and failed a drug test. When another probation officer attempted to stop Kintz from leaving, Kintz pushed him and fled. As the PCSO deputies were arriving in the area of Elm Street in Alturas Saturday night, they were notified of calls to dispatch regarding a suspicious person... on Elm Street in Alturas. The deputies immediately found Kintz, but Kintz began running away. The deputy told Kintz to stop running, but Kintz continued running. The deputy warned Kintz that he would use his Taser unless Kintz stopped running, but Kintz continued running. Promises made, promises kept. The Taser was used, and down went Kintz. Even during the handcuffing process, Kintz continued to fight the deputy, though unsuccessfully. Kintz was #ArrestedByThePolkCountySheriffsOffice and taken to the Sheriff's Processing Center on the Bartow PD charges for Battery on LEO and Violation of Probation. Kintz was additionally charged with: Battery on a LEO and Resisting without Violence. #PCSO #PolkSheriff
