🚨 THE BLOCKADE IS OFFICIAL! The US military announces a Naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz will COMMENCE at 10AM ET tomorrow morning at the direction of President Trump 47 has all the cards. Confirmed. CENTCOM: "The blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas, including all Iranian ports on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman. 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Saying "blockade Hormuz" sounds tough… but what does that actually mean? Does it mean stopping every ship? Searching them? Turning them back? And if a Chinese-owned or Chinese-flagged ship tries to pass, what then? That's where this gets dangerous fast. Because if the U.S. tries to stop a foreign ship by force, that can be seen as an act of war. And if it turns into a total blockade, Iran isn't the only one who gets squeezed, the entire global economy does. Hormuz isn't some random waterway. A huge chunk of the world's oil passes through it. So a full blockade would slam energy markets, hit shipping, and raise major international law questions at the same time. Source: Al Jazeera
