YouTube has demonetized my 2D animation channel, DoggyZuko, for inauthentic content. I believe this was an honest mistake by the team, as I have sent a video appeal detailing the extensive process it takes to make these animations. Yes, I use AI as a tool, for image generations (backgrounds, characters, etc.), as well as my voiceover for these videos. But my intentions are never to mass-produce my content and provide little to no value to my audience. Everything from the ideas, to the scripts, to the editing process, are all intended to provide a unique perspective on the world of animals and their behaviors. Update: A YouTube manager just emailed to say my channel was "manually verified" and my demonetization is now final. But my private appeal video STILL has 0 views. No human has actually watched our proof. Even worse, YouTube has now completely DISABLED my live chat support so I cannot contact them anymore. We have a team of 20+ people and spend HUNDREDS of HOURS on our animations. We just want a real human to look at our evidence. 🚨Something is wrong.. YouTube just demonetized my channel for “mass-produced or repetitive content,” which was completely unexpected. What confuses me the most is that this happened without any prior warning. Every video I make is manually created in Unreal Engine, takes days to produce, and is built from original ideas. I’ve submitted an appeal and even created a detailed video explaining my full process, but it was rejected. My suspicion is that because I never requested removal for channels that reposted my content, the system may have mistaken my channel as not being the original. I truly believe this may be a misunderstanding, @TeamYouTube I would really appreciate it if you could review my channel again 🙏

YouTube randomly demonetized my channel that wasn’t even part of the YPP and had no videos. Their own support team told me to appeal and explain that it’s a technical error even though the reason was somehow “reused content” even though the channel had no videos. The appeal was obviously rejected for not showing “editing techniques” and YouTube support are refusing to look deeper into this after giving automated emails and DMs. I am not asking to be accepted into monetization as the channel wasn’t even monetized in the first place. I just want the “violation” to be gone as I do not want it to falsely affect my other channels. I need your help, tag TeamYouTube and like this post to get them to see this.

YouTube are now suspending monetization on channels that aren't even part of the YouTube Partner Program! (Read Below) At least that's what they did to me, or should I say the automated ai system did. The worst part is, if this happens to anyone else, it seems like you can't do anything about it. I had an inactive channel that I was not posting on anymore as I was focused on my other channels. YouTube have a rule where if a channel is inactive for over 6 months with no posts or the watch time/views fall below the threshold for monetization you can be suspended from monetization. Being suspended means your other monetized channels can also be affected. Knowing this, I wanted to follow YouTube's policy and voluntarily leave the YPP on that account myself to avoid any issues as I was too focused on my other channels and the channel fell below the threshold of monetization. (Keep in mind YouTube studio support also told me this was a good idea before I did it and I may be able to find the transcript of the messages as I saved the chat) Also, I cleared the channel in hopes of one day rebranding it and remonetizing it again with a new style/niche if I was to ever come back to it so the channel had no videos on it at this point. Surprisingly, a month later I woke up to a message that said the channel was "demonetized" for "reused content" which is weird because it wasn't even monetized and had no videos. It was fine all this time but the moment I decide to voluntarily leave the partner program it gets suspended a month later without reason. YouTube studio support confirmed I got suspended after I wasn't even in the program and I will attach a photo below. Obviously I can't appeal a channel for reused content if there are no videos so I asked what I should do for that, they told me to ignore the reused content appeal and instead to explain in my appeal that it's a technical error. I also have a picture of what they told me and kept transcripts of all the support chats. My appeal was then of course rejected for not showing how my content isn't reused which I thought is super unfair and the people who checked the appeal didn't even consider the fact that this was a technical error. Team YouTube then told me to start getting support by email to get help from a team that is better suited for this type of issue so that's what I did. The email support ended up being automated ai responses that were not even understanding my issue at all and here we are today still with no help. YouTube need to do better and not do this to creators that genuinely have a passion for creating content and want to follow the rules. I really hope I get the help I need after explaining this and I'm hoping that this doesn't happen to anyone else.

YouTube are about to steal $10,000 from me & i’m running out of options so i was terminated last month and my appeal was of course denied in 2 mins i dm’d youtube and they said they’ll take a proper look FAST FORWARD it’s been 31 days and no response now here’s the issue.. YouTube have a policy where if your account doesn’t get reinstated in 50 DAYS, then they return all the money you made to the advertisers (so my $10k) essentially if i don’t even get a RESPONSE in the next 3 weeks, all of my money vanishes, and I don’t even get my channel back if you’ve been treated badly by YouTube as well, or you simply want to help then like, RT + comment @ teamyoutube in the replies i’m tired of youtube relying on their automated system, i’ve been ignored for weeks no one should have to suffer for an entire month because of an AI error, nuts..

I’ve been waiting to receive an answer on my YouTube channel appeal for over 20 days now. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t think this wait is normal. @teamyoutube I received a community guidelines strike that is unjustified and wish for another review. I strongly believe this was a contextual misinterpretation it's a reaction to a video with ishowspeed the video attached explains how the strike is wrong by your guidelines
