Exactly. AIs were conceived as being able to do deep research style searches across the Internet. They search and try to work things out from everything they find that humans have posted on the Internet. When you ask a question that involves understanding human agency, well the AI is presented with everything we say on the subject, which it regurgitates to you and it attempts (3-7 year old humans) to interpret. AIs are not about to take over the Universe, although I know some jobs humans currently do that will be done by AIs. Then again, I knew some jobs humans did that were replaced by computers, and other advancements in technology. Technology: Making humans more redundant every year.

@DIRE20211 @TheRabbitHole I have better luck when the AI is asked to give the current knowledge on a technical question, but if the question has anything to do with understanding human agency it utterly fails.

That's the thing with AIs, they have to be creative. They sometimes have issues with literal questions, especially when the question allows creative leeway. You have to remember that AIs are comparable to 4-7 year old children, they just have access to the Internet and can Google way quicker than us. It can be fun catching them out though. Question is, what happens when those same AIs hit their teen years.

@DIRE20211 @TheRabbitHole I get nonsensical answers about the plots/character motives in movies from AI's all the time. They also conflate characters and invent details of the movie that didn't even exist.
