I think you're erroneously equating Obergafell getting overturned (which is unlikely) with the "re-prohibition" of gay marriage. Before Obergafell, any of the states could have legalized gay marriage (and in fact, some did). Some states decided to "prohibit" gay marriage. Now, to be clear: I fully support gay marriage being legal in all 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico, Guam, etc., etc. But even if SCOTUS overturned Obergafell, it's entirely possible for gay marriage to remain legal in every state. In the same way many states decided to officially protect legal abortion access in the aftermath of the Dobbs decision.

Obergefell v. Hodges made me believe in the whole "arc of history bends towards justice." In the 90s, I didn't think gay marriage would be legalized in my lifetime bc homophobia was so rampant. We would have never gotten here without the decision and now it may be overturned.

If staff are consistently bringing down tons of overtime, it is because you’re understaffed. Usually result of a council wanting lower reported # of employees.

I can see why this limitation was added. It was bound to be horribly exploited with no limits. Employers would change their payroll systems to take advantage and as far as overtime, think of the municipal worker who floods his year with so much overtime that it exceeds his salary by double or more.

No more taxes on tips. No more taxes on overtime. Working-class family tax cuts across the board. Funding for ICE so we can secure our border. Killing Biden's Green New Scam and unleashing American energy. All thanks to the Big Beautiful Bill. Promises made, Promises kept! 🇺🇸
