Nick Khan on what he would say to a young boxer watching this hearing about how a UBO could benefit the next generation of boxers:
If you want a chance to be something bigger over a shorter period of time on a platform, we were able to secure a deal with Paramount, as I said on a Platform that has almost 80M subscribers worldwide and has a network partner in CBS. If you want that exposure, if you want trading card deals, if you want merchandise deals, if you want video game deals, of which the fighters would all participate financially. If you want all of that, plus some more, come this way. If you don't, that's your choice.
English

@BlueDevilCCD @jedigoodman And expensive af lol Paramount has both Zuffa and UFC for $12 🤣
English

@DaioGoddard Have a good night celebrating it David. Looks like he’s ready for it
English

@DaioGoddard @Si1927 Don’t make a comment if you can’t back it up.
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 @Si1927 A Welsh starting 11 isn’t as drastic as you’re making out
English

@Si1927 @DaioGoddard Difference is they are no longer in the academy, classed as first team. How many of them are Welsh? As Mr Goddard wanted a starting 11
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 @DaioGoddard We've played 7-8 academy lads all season though?
Majority of our squads have contained 6-8 academy lads and several others early 20s since 1st game. So whats the difference?
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 Silly way of looking at it due to players in first team squad within age bracket and also a fair few out on loan
English

@DaioGoddard And have people judge them on that game? I would say 3-4 in match day squad is more of a sensible approach. I see Cardiff has a talented pool. But where have they finished in respective 21/18’s league. Put them in football league 1?
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 You don’t even support Cardiff so who cares?
English

@DaioGoddard It’s just in the interest of fairness in competitive football. Should your / anyone’s club play a game littered with academy players against a team of experienced football league club, look at it two ways. Would you be happy watching 7-8 academy lads take a hammering.
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 I don’t really care about other teams tbh and most of the ones who would play have first team experience already this season. It would be a great occasion
English

@DaioGoddard In this situation David, secured promotion to championship would be ideal, but other clubs would benefit from a weakened opponent, that’s what would happen and along with that each place in the league depicts how much they gain so still money at stake and all clubs need it.
English

@Marc_Pro88 @DaioGoddard It’s for one game Marc to celebrate our academy not a season long desire
English

@Marc_Pro88 @JCP160391 Talking about a one off game with no jeopardy nobody is saying that should be the starting line up every week
English

@JCP160391 @DaioGoddard Because we are a club football side not the wales national team. It would also severely hinder our ability as a club given that wales are league one / lower champ standard overall and can pick any Welsh player they want!
English

@CraigEdmunigt9 It doesn’t matter who it is it’s just great seeing it. I’m not saying that should be the starting 11 because that would be stupid but how amazing would it be for the club to do it in a league game once this season
English

@DaioGoddard I love posts like this. Give me your all 🏴 starting 11 this season from Cardiff City’s current players / academy players to allow this to happen.
English

Was thinking about this in the morning, if I see my club roll out a full Welsh academy graduate XI football may just be complete
David Goddard 🏴@DaioGoddard
BBM has hinted a few times about a 🏴 starting 11 at some point. It would not surprise me if this happens in one of the last 2 home games if injuries allow
English

@DaioGoddard @matthewjamesali What’s obvious about my stance aye? You lot making it out like you’re victims when you were chanting a homophobic slur at Chelsea fans not much too it
English

Xenophobia every week toward us, Swansea, Wrexham, Newport, Merthyr etc is fair game though😂
All jokes aside I’d be beyond embarrassed if our club cried about being called sheep shaggers by opposing fans, and it would never happen, but the inconsistency is absolutely mental.
Cardiff City FC@CardiffCityFC
We have been fined £15,000 by the FA for homophobic chanting from a minority of attendees at our Carabao Cup quarter final with Chelsea on December 16th. Cardiff City Football Club has a zero-tolerance policy to all forms of discrimination. bit.ly/4cpAgZv
English

@rh1912 @matthewjamesali How am I a victim you weirdo. Pathetic charge but it’s obvious why you are taking the stance you have zzzz
English

@DaioGoddard @matthewjamesali Plenty of clubs have been fined for it and it doesn’t happen amongst large groups of fans as often as you make it out you victim
English

@rh1912 @matthewjamesali Only one club fined for the Chelsea chant despite fans singing it most weeks
English

@matthewjamesali Ones a chant involving a homophobic slur aimed at Chelsea fans, the others a chant that fans at Welsh clubs openly play in to whenever its sung at them, not really comparable or “inconsistent”
