Because Animation (especially Pixar) is not exclusively a children’s medium.

For about the last decade, the BBC has been chasing one particular audience; 16-35s. They imitated everyone else catering to that audience, and cut back on the kind of programmes that used to make the BBC distinctive, for all ages. It hasn't worked; the death spiral continues.

I'm hesitating; would you recommend me to buy the novelization of the episode "The Day of the Doctor" written by Steven Moffatt himself? I really like the episode, but is it worth it?

Do we know when Cutting Copies of Doctor Who episodes stopped? I presume when the stopped making film prints of Who in 1974. I was pondering if a Pertwee era cutting copy turned up, could it have chromadots?

@DaleksC @Matthewbbbbbb Not true, series 4 had the highest average viewership of 8.04 million which makes sense as it was the peak of popularity and the Tennant/Tate era. 7A had an average of 7.96 million.

Hey everyone, I'm the one formally known as Tinted Who. I accidentally got myself suspended with no luck of appeal, but I'm trying to start over. I hope to continue to make Doctor Who fan edits, colourisations, and more for years to come...

Well - I'm thinking of colouring *alll* of The Velvet Web. Josh Snares has done a nice little trim on it tightening up a few edits and awkward bits. I'm considering asking if others would want to join in the fun and do a scene or two. Nice to gave a positive project!

@DaleksC I take the files from MakeMKV. Use Hybrid to deinterlace (with 'bob' enabled) to 50fps. It does mean re-encoding, though.

Trying to rip a DVD for colourisation purposes. Anyone got any tips for getting it to work so the video stays at 50Hz rather than 25fps?
