@AlanRegier Alan - Thank you for sharing this. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the memorial for Tommy Davis but really wanted to go. I was there in spirit! He was a truly special person and was so kind to all of us younger baseball people. He had an impact!

Two events last weekend. Tom Davis Memorial and the Cal Baseball Alumni game and Gala. Knew Tommy since 1983, he was so good to me both on and off the field. Cal was huge for me as Bob Milano took a chance on a young Juco coach. 10 years later I entered MLB. @ Kingfish of course

RIP Archie Gilbert! A+++ person. A+++ Teammate. Life long friend. Gone too soon!
