Just a Catholic dad and businessman... retweets do not necessarily equal endorsements... everything I say is satire (or is it?).

In a world where young men are learning “toxic masculinity” from Andrew Tate, thank God for men like Gary Woodland. You can be a big dude with 196 mph ball speed, a world-class athlete, and still be vulnerable. That’s healthy masculinity—and it should be celebrated.

Sounds a lot like me in my 20s. I called it my "Great Disillusionment". But you recognize the spiritual side of things, which means you will get through it better than I did (I coped with lots of alcohol.. too much, and it cost me almost everything). Find a TLM parish. Start attending mass there. Maybe even a couple masses during the weekday. If nothing else, it will give you quiet time to contemplate things while keeping your main focus on the most important thing (Christ and His promise of eternal life). And you may even find a good woman in the pews who is looking for someone a little more dynamic than the turbo-spergs she is used to seeing there.

We live in an age of female manipulative and deceptive men and bipolar and sociopathic women who are either crazy or robotically cold, everyone transactional and double dealing So disappointing. This app is a magnifying glass of real life. You see girls cheat on their boyfriends in college bar bathrooms, and it’s like, yeah some facsimile of that is going on everywhere else I’m not exactly a saint but the ruthlessness, insanity, transacting people exhibit, goodness A young man is expected to come into this world and manage all by himself. He can if he resolves to, but it is not easy The jealousy and cruelty I experience regularly, all manner of sin, it’s hard to see why anyone WOULD resolve themselves to be better than this. We do live in a fallen world, and it falls more each day. There’s definitely a life of moral fortitude worth pursuing and good people left. I don’t see a lot, proportionally, but I’m sure good people will find each other and overcome their flaws, not me, but good people We must do something about our moral character, but I wonder if it’s even achievable when I see all of this and I myself accept my relationships to be transactional and shallow. It makes things straightforward, but it becomes a sort of stones and glass houses when all you see is this and then object to it Spiritually exhausting. It’ll get better for some people certainly, but I wonder if we have reached an objection point where it can go back Maybe I’m just good at surrounding myself with bad people whom I can’t trust, or I’m good at finding their flaws. Perhaps I deserve it, sometimes I learn that honesty is the worse policy going to deactivate or log off or something and enjoy my solitude and the nice weather, hit my tanning bed, maybe golf tmrw. We’ll see how long it lasts. I have a brutal phone addiction I need to kick Chicken shawarma and lemonade

Verifiably untrue and literally the exact opposite.

@CoinSisu11100 All “deep long lasting relationships” (ex: 30yr marriage) BEGIN with a casual hook up. They’re all the same in the BEGINNING. (This for some reason upsets a lot of Men)

I love Cardinal Pizzaballa. God bless him and protect him.
Michael Haynes 🇻🇦@MLJHaynes

JUST IN: Israeli Police prevented Cardinal Pizzaballa from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre today, as he went to say Mass. @LPJerusalem calls it a “grave precedent” which “constitutes a manifestly unreasonable and grossly disproportionate measure.” Full statement from @LPJerusalem below —— Joint Press Release The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land Holy City of Jerusalem Palm Sunday, 29 March 2026 This morning, the Israeli Police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Head of the Catholic Church in the Holy Land, together with the Custos of the Holy Land, the Most Reverend Fr. Francesco Ielpo, OFM, the official Guardian of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, as they made their way to celebrate the Palm Sunday Mass. The two were stopped en route, while proceeding privately and without any characteristics of a procession or ceremonial act, and were compelled to turn back. As a result, and for the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This incident is a grave precedent, and disregard the sensibilities of billions of people around the world who, during this week, look to Jerusalem. The Heads of the Churches have acted with full responsibility and, since the outset of the war, have complied with all imposed restrictions: public gatherings were cancelled, attendance was prohibited, and arrangements were made to broadcast the celebrations to hundreds of millions of faithful worldwide, who, during these days of Easter, turn their eyes to Jerusalem and to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Preventing the entry of the Cardinal and the Custos, who bear the highest ecclesiastical responsibility for the Catholic Church and the Holy Places, constitutes a manifestly unreasonable and grossly disproportionate measure. This hasty and fundamentally flawed decision, tainted by improper considerations, represents an extreme departure from basic principles of reasonableness, freedom of worship, and respect for the Status Quo. The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land express their profound sorrow to the Christian faithful in the Holy Land and throughout the world that prayer on one of the most sacred days of the Christian calendar has thus been prevented.

@PhillipJCoulson @BowtiedQueenBee Paraphrasing Blessed Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen: There aren't 100 people in the United States that hate the Catholic Church. But there are millions that hate what they falsely believe it to be. Prayers for all ye ignorants.

@BowtiedQueenBee For the love of God -- literally -- please do not become Catholic. They worship Mary instead of Jesus. It's either/or, not both. And one of them is idolatrous.

You can look no further than how hard they gatekeep their sport. There are women who havent played in years who still have damn near full status. And not because of maternity leave. Dont like how men treat women? You should see how women treat other women.

@Henricus2vB Exactly. The Holy Father is just throwing out run of the mill shitlib platitudes and "feel good-isms". This tells me he is not a deep thinker. Silver lining: he might just be an affable buffoon of a bleeding heart, as opposed to a cold, calculating Peronist like his predecessor.

Meanwhile…Total Quality Logistics (TQL) has been certified as a Great Place to Work for 11 consecutive years (2015–2025). They have also received regional recognition, such as being named a Cincinnati Top Places to Work 12 times and achieving various Fortune best workplace awards for millennials and corporations. Same TQL that has 80-90% employee turnover in the first 12 months. All these awards are such a joke!

Imagine you're pregnant. Imagine you learn you have an incompetent cervix that requires surgery. You get the surgery. You also get doctor's orders for bed rest & you ask your boss if you can work from home. But your boss denies it, so you have to go back to the office. You work in the office for a few days, until a desperate call from your husband to the company finally allows you to work from home. And then this...

@GroypSoldier69 @aidannonx How old are you? Probably not old enough to remember 2016. Watch Rubio in the 2016 primaries. It was embarrassing. Really low IQ stuff.

@aidannonx Rubio is a better politician and would make a more competent president. It's that simple. I'm not saying I trust Rubio but he seems to be good at what he does. People take him seriously.

@RonaldJMoeller Definitely. I personally think we should have crushed their ballistic & nuke capes, but Trump has a plan, he has definitely earned the confidence of any clear eyed observer.

Some people are reading the Joe Kent letter, specifically the part about his wife, and saying "wait, what did Israel and the US have to do with the Syrian Civil War?". /SG/ OGs everywhere ought to be saying: "I am glad you asked. Please, have a seat. This may take a while."
