@DanielR_Writes And for me, it does. I love my books...but I always find faults in them in the rereading. I especially love my characters...but I'm constantly asking myself "What was I thinking here?" and "Why did I leave that out?" No rest for the wicked and all that.

@StevenTBoers63 I try to connect them to ideas that have stuck around in my head, and when enough come together I write the first chapter, and keep all those in a binder.

Writing thought: Had some inspiration yesterday for a new book, so I wrote down a bunch of notes. I'm really inconsistent with my inspiration. When I get it, sometimes I switch projects, or try to channel that toward my current book When you new ideas, what do you tend to do?

@DanielR_Writes I’m my own fan but only because I write what I like & keep editing until it reaches my standards. I’m not hard on myself using insults or harsh criticism, I encourage myself to keep constantly improving & putting in effort.

@RegalRhetoric I love this. The best feeling is when after chewing your nails to the cuticle waiting for a response, your Beta Reader tells you they loved it, and give actual feedback 😁

@DanielR_Writes When I'm starting my scene, I'm fairly critical, but when it finally comes together, it's always a celebration, especially if it works for my beta readers
