@d20play Yeah roll to cast on healing is my biggest pain point with the game. But it’s not a total dealbreaker. Just irksome to fail the first time.

ShadowDark is a highly variable experience for spellcasters. Who has soured to it because of this? Would a rule change that made their first failure to cast each spell not cause them to not be able to cast that spell until they rest be too powerful?
