Remembering @gardainfo Sgt Andy Callanan, killed on duty on this day 1999. A man entered Tallaght Garda Station & poured petrol over himself. Sgt Callanan attempted to disarm the man who then aimed the petrol at the Sgt, setting it alight.Sgt Callanan died from injuries received.
