I recently started seeing my neighbors converting their Generator from fuel to gas
According to one of them he said said 2kg gas can last for 8hrs
2kg gas for 8 hours, which means 1kg gas will last for 4 hours. 1kg gas is ₦ 1250 and a litre of fuel is around ₦1300.
2 kg gas is about ₦2500 depending on location, 2 litres of fuel is between ₦2600 to ₦2700 depending on location too. U and I know that 2 litres of fuel cannot last for 6 hours let alone 8 hours.
It's obvious that running generator by gas is cheaper that's why they're switching to it, both those refrigerating their drinks and charging centers
My only concern is the safety, is it safe?, what are the possible risk cause am thinking of telling my compound people to convert ours from fuel to gas too.
