10 conceitos essenciais que me fizeram entender melhor System Design: 1. Load Balancer - distribui o tráfego entre teus servidores (balanceando literalmente a carga entre as instâncias disponíveis) 2. CDN - Te ajuda a entregar conteúdo pela localização geográfica (Cloudflare e AWS CloudFront são os mais usados, reduzem latência servindo arquivos do servidor mais próximo do usuário) 3. Caching - armazena dados consultados com frequência em memória (Redis é mt usado pra isso) 4. Data Partitioning - divide teus dados entre múltiplos bancos (por user_id ou região, por exemplo, quando uma única instância não aguenta mais o volume) 5. Database Replication - réplicas dos dados para redundância e alta disponibilidade (geralmente uma réplica primária pra escrita e várias secundárias pra leitura, assim tu escala as consultas sem sobrecarregar o banco principal) 6. Distributed Messaging - comunicação assíncrona entre serviços (RabbitMQ e Kafka são os mais populares, permitem que serviços se comuniquem sem esperar resposta imediata do outro, essencial pra desacoplar sistemas e processar eventos em alta escala) 7. Microserviços - basicamente é tua aplicações divididas em pequenos serviços independentes 8. SQL x NoSQL - bancos relacionais vão garantir consistência com ACID (Atomicidade, Consistência, Isolamento, Durabilidade), enquanto NoSQL (como MongoDB e Cassandra) escalam horizontalmente com mais facilidade para grandes volumes de dados 9. Database Indexing - acelera consultas com estruturas otimizadas (mas teu schema precisa estar bem desenhado pra indexação funcionar) 10. CAP Theorem - escolha entre consistência, disponibilidade e tolerância a partições. Não dá para ter os 3, e a escolha real será entre consistência ou disponibilidade porque vc nao controla a rede e precisa sempre ter tolerância
