AI is said to have passed a medical licensing exam. I asked Chat GPT to answer 5 take-home board review questions our Med Tox fellows are expected to answer in weekly board review sessions. I’ll list the questions and Chat GPT answers. Which single question did AI get correct?

33 YOM wa shot in abd, came in as trauma. Did well in surgery. Next day in ICU agitated, paranoid, hallucinating. Family swore no EtOH or other drug use. Tox called and got urine from admission for GCMS - lots of peaks. @ToxAndHound

The dust has settled and it looks like I'll be working into the ED much sooner than anticipated. trying to put together a learning plan for myself. re-reading the @emresidents essentials handbook, listening to C3 content from EM:RAP, and reviewing my EKG basics for now

Where do homeless patients go who need safe isolation/quarantining for COVID once they leave the ER? Not the shelter. The incredible @Bostonstreetdoc + @BHCHP team established a novel solution for our homeless patient population. Another bright spot during these times! #BHCHP

@DrMichelleLin In Boston we’re setting up isolation areas for patients with unstable housing thanks to groups like @BHCHP. Some shelters have created COVID+ areas too. Not sure we have a solution for #2 yet...

W/surge in ER #COVID19 cases, major bottlenecks are: 1) where to discharge suspected cases w unstable housing (we are forced to admit until test neg) 2) need for post-acute care to ensure safe discharge: many aides & visiting RN services disappearing, SNFs refusing patients
