It sucks. It's awful. There's no artistry. No wit. No charm. No warmth. No humanity. You can tell it's AI from a million miles away. I hate it. You should hate it. We should relentlessly mock and deride and bully anyone or any company that uses AI like this.

The scene where Rose gets the answer wrong is brilliant. The tension, the music, Rose’s reaction and that brutal cut to the doctor’s face showing pure devastation. Billie Piper and Christopher Eccleston kill it.

@Wayne_J_Parsons @TharriesYT Not sure how you took this view personally but fair enough. My view is when RTD returned he was only interested in celebrating his first era and nothing else. Watching Doctor Who Unleashed has made me believe this more than ever.

@TharriesYT What you have to recognise about the 60th specials is that represented RTD's shorthand for the past, present and future of the show itself. Star Beast was absolutely classic WHO (down to the 80s comic villains), The Giggle was the shape of things to come. 1/2

When I watched the Star Beast as flawed as it's ending was what I was struck by was the return of these quiet character moments like Sylvia and Donna talking about Rose etc, and I was really hoping that would be at the core of 15's era but that was prioritised less & idk why.

@TharriesYT As much as this is a good scene between 2 good actors, I think it retrospectively craps on Donna's S4 ending. This RTD seems to have lost the plot unfortunately.
