Angela has made a massive contribution to this government, this party and our movement. She has worked tirelessly for working class people across our country at every turn - from workers’ rights to investment in affordable housing, her contribution will stand the test of time.

@Ed_Miliband She was a hypocrite who lectured other people about following the rules then cheated them herself. Then went on tv to cry because she'd been caught out. She was sorry she was caught.

Angela Rayner is one of the great British political figures of our time. Generations will grow up with stronger rights at work and in new homes because of her vision and leadership. I know she will continue to stand at the front of the fight for social justice in this country.

I stand with Angela. She made a mistake. She is rectifying it. End of. I understand this seems double standards but I've personally never seen a male Mp be this sorry..they deny deny deny. I defy anyone to listen to this interview with @AngelaRayner and reach any other conclusion than that the Deputy Prime Minister has tried to do the right thing at every turn in a complex, technical area of tax policy. We all rely on advice. Anyone could have made this mistake.
