@beavernation what do we think about a young buck taking over the AD spot for Oregon State? Zero experience being an AD but will 100% be for the people and push for the best for Oregon State athletics. What are your thoughts? May be bias but I think it’s a great idea!!

Seems that the Oregon State fan base is happy with the hiring of MBB coach Justin Joyner. But he alone doesn't solve the problem. OSU must answer the question of money available to players. OSU has had good players the past several years, but couldn't hold on to them.

It goes without saying that Wayne Tinkle leaves @BeaverMBB as one of the more beloved coaches in recent history in any sport at OSU. Not so much for wins and losses, but for the way he carried himself, the way he treated people, the way he ran a clean program. And in the end, the way he sustained player losses, hit the portal and got back to work. A man I have great respect for. #GoBeavs

When the Director of Athletics meets with the team before the conference tournament and tells them to be a bunch of individuals and to only focus on themselves for portal opportunities, it’s obvious he’s afraid of the abilities inside that entire locker room..

He’s a really outstanding Coach but a better person. Wayne Tinkle’s been a credit to his profession for a long time. I’m not sure why NOW has to be the time for him go? However it’s yet another mistake made by their Administration. The formation of the new @pac12 a new beginning of sorts but he could have really been an asset in making their transition.

After Oregon State beat USF in the WCC quarters tonight, Wayne Tinkle turned to multiple areas of the arena and celebrated. Here's the reason why: "The outpouring of support from the last ten days have been unbelievable... It was just a thank you to them for all the great things that they said and to let them know we're not done... There were a lot of emotions when I was by myself, but we had to make sure we made it about the team this week. It's all we've ever done... So why would I make it about me the individual all the sudden? That would be so hypocritical. We've got enough of that in our society."
