Yeah it was very sad. My relationship with his mentor the great Al McGuire only made us closer. He came up to New York a few times and would have been marvelous TV analyst had he lived long enough.RIP🙏and I’m sure he and Al are sharing stories tonight in heaven.

One of those past @SaintLouisMBB 1st round victories came in 2012 West Region matchup played in Columbus Ohio. These were my boards first that game colorful don’t ya think?!One of my all time favorites the late Rick Majerus got the W as a (12) seed beating 5th seeded @Memphismbb. Michigan State took them out in round 2, and sadly it would be Ricks last victory as he passed away only months afterwards.

@awfulannouncing @Tim_Pernetti the system is rigged. UAB could not get games as well. The NET is set up to encourage power conference teams not to play non power teams to keep them out. This needs to be fixed. @TimBrando
