I made a post yesterday talking about how much I love being a biological woman and that its ok to look like me and not be trans. Straight men were PRESSED. I got so many hate comments and dm's. Men telling me Id never be them. Im a butch, bulk dyke, insert slur here. Here's the thing : I don't want to be them. I respect men. I admit men are fashionable which is why I go to a barber and shop in the men's section. But be one? I can't be. It's a biological impossibility. In fact, I am feminine in every way outside of my style. So why are men so angry? Simple. Genetics. Men are pre dispositioned to see a standard female of standard female proportions as mating material. It's how we've kept our species alive. They're conditioned to see men as a threat. It goes back to cave days. So they see me. And subconsciously they think - Not mating material. Must be threat. But wait. Not man. Brain short circuit. I blame modern gender bending and radical Trans idealogy for the blurred lines. Clothing does not change your gender. Not all women have to dress for the male gaze.

The myth that women can get STDs from toilet seats started because wealthy, white girls were testing positive for syphilis and doctors simply couldn’t fathom that they were being raped by their wealthy, white fathers. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE TOILET INFECTION!!!

This is before we even get to the drones over Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. The people washing up on European shores are, in very large part, the direct human wreckage of American foreign policy. America created the disaster. Europe is housing the survivors. And America is on the internet asking why Europe keeps letting people in. Remarkable cheek, really. As for eliminating indigenous culture: the United States actually eliminated its indigenous people. Deliberately. With rifles and government paperwork. Europe took in Syrian doctors. These are not comparable situations, and pretending they are requires a truly heroic indifference to history. The culture is fine. France still has the cheese. The Louvre is still there. Bach is still there. Nothing has been eliminated except, apparently, the ability to read a percentage.

Delroy Lindo called it “a classic case of something that could be very negative becoming very positive.” For families living with Tourette’s, this past week has not felt positive. Since the BAFTAs and what happened with John Davidson, I have been arguing that my son deserves to leave his home and be included in society like everyone else. I have had to explain, again and again, that Tourette’s is neurological. That tics are involuntary. That coprolalia is not belief, not intent, not character. Yet the conversation keeps circling back to whether people like John, and by extension my son, should simply stay home to avoid offending anyone. Stay home. Remove yourself. Do not attend events. Do not exist publicly in case your disability makes someone uncomfortable. That is the reality this week. This is not abstract for me. My son already navigates anxiety and the constant fear of being misunderstood. Inclusion cannot mean only if your disability is convenient. It cannot mean you are welcome as long as you do not embarrass us. My son deserves to leave the house. He deserves to attend events. He deserves to exist in public. And I am exhausted from having to argue that basic truth.

You know lads, I'm not entirely sure that a white, Scottish, community centre caretaker with a profound disability, living in one of the poorest areas of the UK, IS actually more privileged than two famous, perfectly healthy, African American millionaire celebrities.

There's actually a scene in the film where he gets seriously assaulted for involuntarily using a slur, so well done: you're the same as the baddies in a film about how hard society is on disabled people.

What Americans don't realise is that Brits only know a lot more about Tourettes than Americans precisely because of John Davidson's extraordinary courage in educating the UK about his issues since he was a child. He's done more for understanding of the condition than anyone alive

So a man invited to the BAFTA’s as inspiration for a film demonstrating the horrific hostility and lack of understanding people with Tourette’s face… is now facing horrific hostility and a lack of understanding over his Tourette’s? Have I got that right? 🤦
