@PracticalTAS If the only new smash title we get out of the next 3+ years is smash ultimate deluxe or something, I'm failing to see what will bring new energy to the tournaments that'll be needed to replace the players that are expressing fatigue with a 6.5-year old game. A new game is needed.

Sony is still selling Demon's Souls and Ratchet & Clank for full price and it's 5 years old. A lot of people are trapped into thinking we're still operating by old rules.

@NgudWorks Yes but don’t go in expecting Twisted Metal vibes because it’s actually light on that. (Season 2 however seems to rectify that.) It feels like a NBC sitcom that’s carried by the actors.

The Mario Kart World Direct kinda just went into more detail about things we already knew about aside from a few minor things like the small missions across the map. I am ambivalent because I do want to be surprised when the game releases but I also wished they showed more here.
