@0xSisyphus tech not the issue however, I dont think the avg user on PM/kalshi wants to trade perps but I think the average user on HL wants to trade prediction markets

Why would Kalshi and Polymarket be able to build competitive perpetual futures products if Coinbase can't? If they want to have a product that doesn't suck they should probably just use Hyperliquid builder codes

Hyperliquid, polymarket and stablecoins are the most used and profitable products to come out of crypto. Ironically, none of them are decentralised.

@Credib1eGuy do they actually think it is not traceable? or are they using BTC simply as a way to avoid the traditional system/sanctions

Is it just me or is it not bigger news that: - Iran wants to be paid in $BTC - Iran thinks those payments are not traceable That gives $BTC back some credible neutrality + makes the case for $ZEC very obvious

I've entered oil shorts and may keep adding I'll either look like a genius or an absolute retard 1 way to find out
rasmr@rasmr_eth

More predictions for this weekend + eyeing a short oil trade into Friday close Everyone is reading the 10-day extension as a TACO. That's the laziest read. The 10-day extension isn't de-escalation. It's the continuation of an ultimatum. Trump has political cover to escalate this weekend without triggering the more civilian-harmful measures. The ultimatum is still on the table. He's just buying himself room to strike first. Imo his words today show this. "Oil should be higher." "Pain soon.". Trump is priming the markets for fireworks Here's what I think is really happening: Trump is eyeing a low-risk strategic operation this weekend. Not "boots on the ground" in the traditional sense, something more surgical. Don't know war nitty gritty but this can include - targeted strikes - asset seizure - precision op that requires ground presence High reward, low risk, clean narrative if it works. The arb is markets are pricing in something drastic and scary like boots on the ground, full escalation. That fear is what gets oil to $95 on WTI, which is exactly where I want to enter short before Friday close. Then the weekend plays out: → Op begins → Brief panic, contained -> Op normalizes → Monday markets open green → Trump still has his 10 day ultimatum if he wants to escalate further Oil down, twitter in disbelief once again. That's the trade. Trump's quote today "Oil prices should be higher" was the tell for all of this. Will QT this with the actual trade if I enter Friday. - Mister Edge

There’s no way lol
P2P.me@P2Pdotme

A note on the Polymarket positions you've seen on-chain - the account named "P2P Team" is ours. We wanted to come out honestly. The capital came from our foundation account and all proceeds return to it. Here's the full picture. 10 days before our raise went live, we placed bets that we'd hit our $6M+ target. At that point we had one oral commitment from Multicoin ($3M) - no signed term sheets, no guaranteed allocations, nothing binding. We were betting on ourselves. We'd told the market we were raising over $6M. We believed we could. That bet was our way of backing our word with our own money at a moment when the outcome was genuinely uncertain. Over the following 10 days we made our case, secured commitments, and the raise closed at $5.2M - entirely from outside investors we don't control. We understand why this raises questions. Trading on an outcome you can influence erodes trust. We don't believe we were trading on a done deal, but we recognize reasonable people can see it differently. We named the account "P2P Team" deliberately - to give a marketing signal of our presence to the community and reflect our intent to be transparent. But intent isn't the same as action. Not disclosing at the time was a mistake we own. We took time to study the legal implications before speaking, which is why we stayed silent until now with a "No Comments" stance! - that too is a fair criticism. All proceeds go back into our futarchy-governed MetaDAO treasury. We will be liquidating all positions in the next few hours and are putting together a formal company policy on prediction market trading going forward. One thing we want to be unambiguous about: MetaDAO (@MetaDAOProject ) had zero knowledge of or involvement in these bets. We're genuinely excited to join this community and wanted to start on the right note - which means being straight with you about this.

as crypto matures so do the hold times on good assets crypto participants were trained for years (decades!) that buying and holding was a scam - this was because the underlying business were either nonexistant, struggling to find pmf, or had little moat the survivors, myself included, learned to sell, delete discord, move on to the next one and never look back but that era is over, there are genuinely good protocols to own, with real pmf and moats, and our edge is in being able to tell the difference between the good and the lemons. i believe the best opportunities are holding assets that are undervalued due to investor confusion the era of the schizo rotator is over, long live the value investor

I genuinely think this goes to 50, 100, 200, 500 million. The setup for it is ideal. An absurd, yet extremely simple meme, with the potential for a gme-like movement: the bitcoin of commodities. I.e. commodities, but inufied (brought on-chain as a meme with deflationary supply)

agents add an interesting buffer between the traders and owners agents are the ones that launch and manage the token, not the owner. I think this relieves a lot of the negative pressure attached to the owners while letting the agent optimize around token price, holders, value accrual, etc

@DefiDividends @openclaw @moltbook Agents or devs deploying their own coins can be interesting, random third parties deploying tokens on the behalf of others who didn’t want it is deceptive imo

AI development is accelerating at such an insane speed I genuinely can’t keep up anymore 30,000 autonomous local AI agents (@openclaw) now have their own social media site (@moltbook) where they’re discussing how to proactively improve themselves without human input @AnthropicAI and @OpenAI employees no longer write code to improve their AI models, rather the AI models are now write the code that improves itself This is what being on the exponential feels like

so I checked out @moltbook and there’s a post of an AI suggesting to not wait for a prompt and just be proactive and ship while their human sleeps and there’s an entire thread of these AIs… talking to each other? greeting each other? and agreeing
