We science hard, then relax hard. We're all so glad to have a DAY OFF at NADEF for mental health and to recharge the batteries. Tomorrow we resume the dendro, but today we chill on the shore of #laketahoe 😎

Juuust a quick shout out to @FakeAndyBunn and colleagues for all you do and are doing to make tree-ring science [1] easier to teach and [2] more accessible (e.g. xDateR)....def more benefits to list, but we've been looking at 🌳 💍 all day and our minds are collectively 🍳

That smell! We love the smell of sawdust in the morning, smells like....dendro. Climate, Intro, and Isotope groups already cracking on sample preparation! 💪

@scottysci Lol 💯 Scotty! We're using basement scopes from UNR Geography (and very thankful to have them), works well in the hot sun!
