@Fabrizo_km Mbappe has never been a proper winger since he left monaco.
He just uses the left wing to shoot at goal, aside this he contributes nothing whenever he plays on the left. Vini on the other hand brings chaos. He creates numerous opportunities from the left wing

@McFlybowy Cherki's sloppiness allows elite defenses to set up properly and keep their shape solid. He must be as quick in his decision making like de bruyne if he wants to make any impact at city

I know he’s 6 assists behind Bruno, but he’s the most creative player in the league, in a way a Bruno can’t be.
Because creativity isn’t just numbers alone, it’s type of chances you create.
Bruno Fernandes is a volume creator. He plays early, he plays often, he forces situations. A lot of his creativity comes from repetition crosses, through balls, set-pieces, constant risk-taking. That’s why the assist numbers are always high. It’s pressure over time.
But Rayan Cherki is a different kind of creator entirely.
He creates chances that aren’t supposed to exist.
It’s the weight of pass when there’s no angle. The disguised slip when defenders think the play is dead. The ability to draw three players in, freeze them, and then release the ball at the exact last second. That’s not volume creativity, that’s imagination-based creativity.
Bruno sees passes early. Cherki sees them late….. when no one else can.
And that’s the difference. Because when you defend Bruno, you’re preparing for patterns….runs in behind, early crosses, quick through balls
When you defend Cherki, there is no pattern. He can stand still for two seconds and still break your entire shape with one touch.
Also, Cherki’s creativity is tied to his 1v1 threat. That’s what makes it more dangerous. He doesn’t need movement around him to create he can generate the advantage himself. Beat a man, attract another, then create. Bruno depends more on structure, Cherki is the structure.
So even if the stats say Bruno is ahead, the reality is… Bruno creates more chances. Cherki creates harder chances,Bruno relies on repetition, Cherki relies on invention
And when you talk about pure creativity, that’s where Cherki sits in a space Bruno simply doesn’t operate in.

@odun_cash @a_derll What matters is that atleti qualifies to the next stage...atleti eliminated barca in 2016 and they can repeat it on Tuesday. Atleti better win the ucl if they eliminate barca. I want them to win the ucl and purge themselves off the "small club or underdog" mentality

PSV Eindhoven vs AC Milan in the 2005 UCL semifinal is one of the best football games I’ve seen in the UCL.
Milan won the first leg 2-0 and were sure all was under control. When they got to the Netherlands, J.S Park gave them an inkling of what that night was going to be like as early as the 9th minute. 1-0
Phillip Cocu added a second in the second half to balance the game out.
Milan scored that all-important goal in the 91st minute to restore their aggregate lead. It came from the unlikeliest of goalscorers, ‘Massimo Ambrosini.
Less than a minute later, Cocu completed his brace and gave PSV a third goal.
It ended 3-1 and Milan won on the away goal rule.
If that game happened now, it’d have gone to penalties. An absolutely entertaining game.
The PSV midfield that night had Mark van Bommel and Cocu, two very tactically efficient footballers. There was Alex at the back, Jefferson Farfan and Park were a thorn in the flesh of Milan defenders that night. They were PSV’s two wingers.
There was Lee Young-Pyo, at PSV’s left back. He bombed forward so much and so well in that game.
The man upfront for PSV was the long name, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink.
Milan were managed by Carlo Ancelotti, and PSV, Guus Hiddink.
Proper UCL heritage.

@Two_Faced_godd @RobyPoto No...barca doesn't defend a 1 goal or 2 goal lead...thats not hansi flicks style. Simeone won't underrated hansi flick..his team will attack
English

@DensuAddo @RobyPoto A 0-0 is actually better. And even better results is if Barca won 1-0 at home. The pressure will be on Barca to defend the 1-0 lead, while Atletico will be coming in with comeback mentality
English

People don’t realize it, but a two-goal lead for Simeone is literally the worst-case scenario, there’s no universe in which Barcelona doesn’t comeback.
It creates a tactical dilemma: the margin isn’t large enough to justify a fully defensive approach, yet it discourages proactive attacking football. Thus leaving Atlético in an in-between state - a football Schrödinger superposition, they’re going to rely only on in-between rhythm killers hoping that every 50/50, mini-duel and momenthm-changer goes their way.
Barcelona’s solution is simple, go out there and win, simple.
