So sad to hear about Margaret Hickish. A truly incredible woman who had such an impact on me personally and professionally. She leaves such a legacy improving accessibility in transport. This week has been a tough one already, we need to appreciate the little moments every day.

These transition plans should not be developed without the involvement of disabled people to ensure our needs are central. Spaces & places need to be inclusive & accessible to everyone & not place barriers in people’s way. Street furniture can & often does mean more barriers 🦽👩‍🦯

@dundeecycling Please, through your networks ask cyclists to maintain the 2m space. Myself and most people I talk to are all having difficulties with cyclists breaching this & not slowing down when passing others. As a wheelchair user I have had to leave the path most days to avoid cyclists 🦽
