Today we released new enrolment figures that show the highest ever level of estimated enrolment for Indigenous Australians of 81.7%! It's a great move in the right direction, however there is still a lot of work to do to close the gap aec.gov.au/media/2022/09-…

Today I removed myself from a vote on a Bill which could have had a financial impact on me due to my time working for the ABC living overseas. #auspol

At the amazing and deeply troubling World Press Photo exhibition in Amsterdam. Note we only register as satisfactory on freedom of the press.

@aussienproud17 Actually we want people not to take extremely incomplete turnout figures (because we haven't counted every vote yet) and compare them to complete turnout figures from previous elections. Let's compare apples with apples?

And here's my detailed viewing data, still being sent to Tealium with my hashed email address. Google & Chartbeat still get the viewing data too. @OAICgov - Anything to say about continuing to share detailed identifiable data even after people have explicitly opted out? #Auspol

And an update on that opt-out: I rechecked today and the opt out is still non-functional. Here are my account settings - opted out of everything I can opt out of

And remember that last time I checked, there was no opt-out. (Delighted to be proven wrong if this has now been corrected - let me know @ABCaustralia).

Well, @ABCaustralia has actually gone ahead and turned off open access to iView, during an election campaign. Now you can't watch without your viewing data being shared with commercial partners. Is there any political candidate who has anything to say about this? #Auspol

Who gets info about your viewing through the new @ABCaustralia iView? youtube.com/watch?v=20bqzI… (Thanks to @KathyReid & @chrisculnane) Google & Tealium see exactly what you're watching even if you opt out or watch kids' TV. We did not consent to this. #OurABCOurData #Auspol
