@mitchellh @ultrakurwa @zeeg It's preference, also using a terminal or a GUI doesn't define if someone is a "real developer". Same can be said for driving: "I'm a real driver because I drive manual transmission". You don't have to understand someone preference, keep in mind: talk is cheap, show me the code.

@ultrakurwa @zeeg I use a terminal because I'm a real developer so I mostly have no idea what you're talking about (I mean this mostly as a joke). Closing all windows w/o quitting the app is a feature for me, not a bug. The reverse drives me crazy on Windows. Cultural differences!

I can understand engineers who use Linux. I can understand engineers who use macOS. I really don’t understand engineers who use Windows (except windows app developers). By understand I mean I can see the value system they operate under. It just seems bad for non-Windows dev work

@SchizoDuckie @janbakker_ Bij ons in de buurt is het gemopper van de buurt zelf dat er zoveel bezorgbusjes rond rijden en overal lukraak parkeren. En niet zozeer over de dienst die geleverd wordt. Ik heb zelf de voorkeur voor ophalen en afhalen, geeft mij minder stress 🤭

Impopulaire menig: pakketdienst aan huis moet worden afgeschaft. Laat het lekker bezorgen bij het ophaalpunt ( kan nooit ver weg zijn) en haal het te voet of per fiets op. Geen gekaffer meer op bezorgers, beter voor het milieu, en uiteindelijk meer beweging voor iedereen.

@adbertram .ContainsKey has my preference as it is in similar to .IsPresent. Making it for me more consistent.

Which do you prefer? I use $PSBoundParameters.ContainsKey() because it's more explicit but it is quite a bit longer.

@MMelkersen I don't like it 😳. I tried it in Azure for a while but I don't get the functional advantage this should provide.

@theAlexWhitmore One tip. If you go for something like medium.com make sure to read the small print in the agreement as some sites state that you are no longer the content owner, they are. My choice is github.com with markdown

@samiravindt Groningen en omgeving is top! Heb er jarenlang met plezier gewerkt. Zelfs met lange reistijd nooit met tegenzin in de auto gestapt.

@janbakker_ My kids (similar age) love "The Nin". As a parent would definitely recommend, it has a great variety of games for their age group. One thing to keep in mind that Nintendo 2 will probably release in q1 2025.

@JohnLokerse Essentially if files are 2 big you split them into smaller ones. So breaking the solution up into smaller logical components (using bicep controllers grouping for modules) with smaller parameter files. In practice it obviously depends on multiple factors if this is possible.

How do you handle the readability of large (main) Bicep parameter files? I lose oversight sometimes and wished I had something like C# regions to open/hide chunks of parameters. #azure #bicep #biceplang
