📊 Pokémon HOME / Legends: Z-A / Champions — Current Known Info Here’s a summary of everything we currently know from the latest Pokémon HOME data update: • For now, there is no special gift in Pokémon HOME for completing the Legends: Z-A Pokédex. • Only 4 new Abilities were added to Pokémon HOME’s data, specifically tied to Pokémon that are compatible with Champions. • However, there are 4 additional placeholder slots for new Abilities connected to Legends: Z-A Mega Evolutions. • This strongly suggests that at least 4 other Pokémon received new Mega Evolutions with brand-new Abilities, but they won’t be compatible with Champions at launch. • Because of this, we won’t know those extra 4 new Abilities until those Pokémon are added to Champions in future seasons. 📌 In short: We currently have data confirming 4 new Mega Abilities, plus at least 4 more unknown ones that are still hidden and likely tied to future Champions updates. THIS DESIGN😭 The Volcanion situation is wild. It’s currently a fully complete Pokémon in the ZA data,as if it’s part of the dex,but it still cannot be obtained The other Kalos mythicals were exactly the same except: Diancie-made available in special event Hoopa-will be available in DLC plot BUT Volcanion has no event or plot tied to it in the ZA data YET). It also has no special or 2nd form like the other two… A fun copium theory would be: what if Volcanion isn’t made available in the ZADLC,but maybe after the DLC there could be a “Mochi Mayhem-like” epilogue event featuring a new Mega Volcanion Sorry I just NEED THIS DESIGN

@soulsilverart They'll just do what they did in Let's Go and make each megastone a key item, not a big obstacle, mega evolution won't change that much if at all. Simple.

Pokémon Legends Arceus = No held items. Pokémon LegendsZA = Mega Evolution? Something doesn’t add up. Either the PLA system changes or mega evolution changes🤔

LegendsZA could be 1 of the worst Pokémon games,or 1 of the best games in recent memory,IMO. For me it all hangs on if we only get megas(& the mega gimmick as we know it)as the main“new designs”of this game… Irks me that in ZA,I could be using a team that I could easily use now in SV-except I can only mega evolve one of them,one time per battle? Like what’s the point of having a team of Pokemon that all have new mega evos, but I can only use one of them per battle? Honestly IMO Megas as a gimmick cannot stand alone like this. So I’m just hoping that new Megas isn’t all that we get,or that the Mega gimmick changes drastically (that we can use multiple Megas in battle and that they are more permanent). OR that we will get new true evolutions of other Pokémon, or at the very least RFs. I’m sure there will be a new gimmick alla “styles”of PLA and there will be legends style catching and a new story… But all of that isn’t really enough for me. If it’s just megas it would be one of the worst games to me. I’m scared of this because this would be so typical of a Kalos game to be ultimately disappointing to me😅😂. Of course, on the other hand if there’s new true evos- on top of the Megas and new/other gimmicks, it could be amazing.
