Earlier today, we experienced a serious security incident involving the unauthorized minting of STBU tokens. I want to address this directly, take full responsibility, and share exactly what happened and what we're doing about it. A lead engineer's PC was compromised by malware, giving an attacker access to our CCIP bridge keys. They exploited this to mint approximately 56 million unauthorized STBU on Arbitrum through 13 repeated bridge transactions, then moved a significant portion to MEXC for liquidation. Here's what matters most: no client infrastructure, no client contracts, and no client funds were affected. Our security architecture is built on strict segmentation, and that segmentation held. Using our proprietary STV3 protocol - designed for exactly this kind of scenario. We recovered approximately 23 million tokens directly from attacker wallets in a single transaction. This recovery was surgical: it affected only the attacker addresses and touched nothing else. STBU will continue to function as planned within the Stobox ecosystem. Our product roadmap, our technology, and our commitment to building compliant tokenization infrastructure remain unchanged. I deeply regret that this happened. But the containment, the recovery, and the steps we're taking now reflect the standards we hold ourselves to. We will continue to provide transparent updates as the investigation progresses.
