INTERESTING FACT: Australia was formed with Christian values at its core. There is no mention of “Judeo-Christian” in parliamentary records until the 35th parliament, where it first appeared as a petition. It wouldn’t be until after 9/11 occurred, that it was thrust into “mainstream” in 2001 (America) and then 2004 (Australia). The statement that Australia is a “Judeo-Christian Nation” is manufactured. That’s not to say that prominent Jewish people weren’t part of Australia’s early years - the fact is, Australia’s foundation and laws were drawn from British Law, Magna Carta and CHRISTIAN practices.

@WSJ My money is on the fact that auto pilot was not engaged. I’ve owned my Tesla for over 5 1/2 years and have never seen the car just accelerate randomly out of control like this.

As a Tesla owner for over 5 1/2 years now and one who uses the full self driving feature and auto pilot many times I highly doubt this Technology feature was engaged. If the car for some reason was going excessively fast on a residential street like that, the driver simply taps the brake to disengage full self driving or auto pilot. And because of regenerative breaking the car automatically slows down. I look forward to the official news as Tesla will be able to tell if this feature was engaged.
