West-Eastern Divan Orchestra

Yamen Saadi, celebrating his 27th birthday, joined the orchestra as a soloist to perform Mendelssohn's violin concerto. This celebrated work was paired in the program with Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 "Romantic".

The first concert of the Divan's 25th anniversary year took place in a sold-out Berlin Philharmonie, where the audience gave the musicians and Maestro @DBarenboim standing ovations in both parts of the concert. 💛
