EASTER SUNDAY—HE IS RISEN!
We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and his triumph over sin and death, offering the hope of salvation to all humankind.
As St. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:17, "If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile."
Jesus Christ’s resurrection validates Jesus’ teachings and his identity as the Son of God. It is a joyful affirmation that life does not end with death, but rather marks a passage to eternal life in communion with God.
