@XorDev i've been an android user for 6 months now after using iOS for like 8 years or so. i have no ui/ux problems except 2: - cursor moving on iOS you said is superior to everything i've tried on android. - japanese input is shit and i haven't found a fully functioning keyboard for it

The main strength of Android is the open platform. It's easy to customize, edit, transfer and even install your own OS. All cool things, but not sure it's worth the day to day inconveniences

I switched from iPhone SE to Google Pixel 9a a few months ago and it sucks

I was reading the comment section under a video that was telling people that you shouldnt force close all your apps on android/ios (which is true, it actually wastes battery) and the comments about various people saying "nah cuz my workflow is..." made me laugh about how terrible the UX is on phones by default and how 99% of people just got used to "it is what it is". people usually look at my phone and go "tf is that" because I've completely redone the home screen launcher from the ground up to actually be usable. Default launchers suck. it's crazy how we have these marvels of technology and yet we refuse to make them actually work well for ourselves. We spend hours, days and months glued to them and don't want to think for 20 minutes about "hm, is that really good enough? could I improve it? Would it be worth it? How much time am I wasting?" I've seen so many people do some brainless activity for HOURS like copy pasting or moving etc without stopping for 5 minutes and thinking "hang on. There has to be a better way, right?" where it would take 10 minutes of looking up to save hours of labor. vaxry out

i use google maps, my best friend uses apple maps. guess which one of us is completely useless in navigating foreign cities
