BREAKING: Marco Rubio PANICS over the shutdown of the Strait of Hormuz and begs other nations to save Trump's bacon because Iran is violating "international law."
It doesn't get any more embarrassing than this...
"We're talking about this: There are some in the Iranian regime that are going around saying that they want to make the Strait of Hormuz tolling thing, they want to make it permanent," Rubio told reporters. "That's unacceptable!"
"The whole world should be outraged by it," he whined. "We're impacted by it a little bit, but the rest of the world is impacted by it a lot more, including many of the countries represented today here at the G7."
Rubio conceding that the United States is a "little bit" affected by Iran's control of the Strait is a direct refutation of Trump's claim that we have "so much oil" that "our country is not affected by this."
The truth, of course, is that the United States and indeed the entire global economy is affected by the Strait, through which 20% of the world's petroleum passes. In fact, fear of disrupting the Strait is one of the primary reasons that no previous president was foolish enough to start a war with Iran.
"And so if those countries are deeply impacted by it, all we've said is, you guys need to do something about it," Rubio continued. "We'll help you, but you guys are going to need to be ready to do something about it."
Most of our closest allies have already stated that they have no interest in taking part in Trump's disastrous, illegal war. Unlike this White House, they're unwilling to risk the lives of their service members on behalf of Israel's dreams of territorial expansion.
For Trump and Rubio, this is a deeply humiliating geopolitical problem. Before they started this war, the Strait was open. Now, they're in the position of simply trying to claw their way back to the status quo that was in place before they started bombing women and children. Apparently, the "art of the deal" means fighting to get back something that you already had.
Rubio continued: "Because when this conflict and when this operation ends, when the Iranians decide, well, now we control the Strait of Hormuz, and you can only go through here if you pay us, and we allow you to, that's not only is it illegal under international law and maritime law, it's unacceptable."
"And that can't be allowed to exist. And so what we've said is that the countries that are most impacted by that should be willing to do something about it, and we'll help them. And that's what I said," he added.
The sheer audacity it takes for a man like this to invoke "international law" is jaw-dropping. This entire war is a total rejection of such law. Trump started this fascist conflict with a "might makes right" ethos. Now, it turns out that the U.S. isn't quite as mighty as the administration had imagined so they're complaining to nonexistent refs.
Sorry Marco, is there a problem with the war you ordered?
Please ❤️ and share if you think the Iran War is a historic failure!

FYI a nuclear suicide vest isn’t feasible due to basic physics.
Nuclear explosions require critical mass, which means slamming the particles together. It needs space, so containers are large & heavy.
This isn’t limited by tech. It’s limited by physics and reality.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 NEWEST WAR PROPAGANDA TO TRY AND SELL THIS ILLEGAL WAR RO THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER: JD Vance says: "Iran was about to use NUCLEAR SUICIDE VESTS in supermarkets." "NUCLEAR SUICIDE VESTS" 😂🤣😂 (This is nothing but Hollywood fiction)

Trump today announced a 10 day ceasefire on civilian infrastructure.
Israel broke it within 4 hours.
They are prolonging the war on purpose to force an American invasion.

Israel has hit 2 of Iran's largest steel factories, a power plant and civilian nuclear sites among other infrastructure. Israel claims it acted in coordination with the U.S. Attack contradicts POTUS extended deadline for diplomacy. Iran will exact HEAVY price for Israeli crimes

🚨 Holy shit, catastrophic morning for global oil:
– Iran has declared the Strait of Hormuz CLOSED. All shipping "to and from ports of allies and supporters of the Israeli-American enemies" is now PROHIBITED.
– TWO Chinese container ships tried to exit the Gulf via Hormuz on Friday. TURNED BACK. Ship-tracking data confirms.
– 8,000,000 barrels per day are now OFFLINE. That is not a reduction. That is a shutdown.
– Oil is SURGING. Brent nearing $111/barrel. WTI has topped $96. March is on track for the LARGEST monthly price gain ever recorded.
– Separately: 40% of Russia's oil export capacity is about to HALT. Ukrainian drone strikes hitting Baltic port terminals. Russia is warning buyers of "force majeure" on deliveries.
– Asia's energy crisis is about to ACCELERATE. Japan gets 73% of oil through Hormuz. South Korea: 70%. China: 40-45%. India: 42%.
– China just got TURNED BACK from Hormuz. The world's largest energy importer can't get its ships through.
– The Iran conflict looks set to extend into April. Attacks ongoing. Hormuz traffic largely stalled.
– Tanker deliveries are RUNNING OUT. Not slowing — running out. Saxo Bank's Ole Hansen: further pressure coming as remaining deliveries expire.
– Two chokepoints. Hormuz and Baltic. Both offline. No backup supply at this scale exists anywhere on Earth.
This isn't a spike. This is the beginning of a structural energy crisis.
I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

🚨 READ THIS VERY CAREFULLY.
Before February 28, 2026:
→ Strait of Hormuz: OPEN
→ Oil price: $73/barrel
→ Qatar shipping LNG normally
→ Ships transiting without incident
After the US launched Operation Epic Fury:
→ Strait of Hormuz: CLOSED
→ 8,000,000 barrels/day OFFLINE
→ Oil price: $111/barrel
→ 13 Americans DEAD, ~300 wounded
→ Qatar force majeure — 90 cargoes gone
→ Ships DESTROYED. Tankers BURNING for weeks.
→ 850 Tomahawks fired ($1,700,000,000)
→ Iran firing cruise missiles at US carriers
Do you understand what that means?
The US started a war to destroy Iran's nuclear program. Iran responded by closing the most important waterway on Earth. Now the entire war is about reopening that waterway.
They're showing you "America must keep Hormuz open."
They're NOT showing you that Hormuz was open BEFORE America started the war.
→ The war didn't protect oil supply — it destroyed it
→ The war didn't make shipping safer — ships are literally on fire
→ The war didn't cost Iran leverage — it GAVE Iran the biggest leverage on Earth
→ The war didn't weaken Iran's position — Iran now controls 20% of global oil and charges $2,000,000 per ship
Every single problem America is now fighting to fix is a problem America created 28 days ago.
Pakistan's defense minister: "The goal of the war has shifted to opening the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before the war."
