The U.S. and Israeli regimes have assassinated our leaders, killed schoolchildren, and attacked hospitals, universities, energy facilities, and desalination plants. They have now struck the Pasteur Vaccine Institute and key road bridges. They openly threaten to bomb our power infrastructure and “return Iran to the Stone Age.” It seems these realities do not reach Australian and EU officials, or they are unwilling to condemn them. Instead, they criticize Iran’s self-defense. The world and history will judge you. Do not stand on the side of Nazis.

You’re up to your neck in what you describe as “the Middle East conflict” you utter fraud. It’s not a conflict, it’s a war being waged by the most powerful nations on the planet using the most advanced military and surveillance technology in the world. There were no HIMARS, fighter jets, air defences or weapons shipped to the people of Lebanon or Gaza. Instead you armed their oppressors to the hilt and are an active participant in their genocide while at home persecuting those that stand in solidarity with them. You are a weak, mediocre, pathetic man who should be dragged to The Hague and tried as a war criminal A vote for Labour is a vote for genocide.

Australia might still be the world's best place to live but we're letting ourselves down big time. Four weeks into the Iran war: 10% of our servos wholly or partially out of fuel. 30% of farmers worried they lack the diesel to sow or harvest their crops. Flights being cancelled. No Australian-flagged fleet of tankers that could be tasked with a fuel rescue mission; with no naval ships capable of helping to break any Iranian blockade; and with no Australian air power yet despatched to the Middle East to help the US-Israel campaign against an apocalyptic theocracy, even though the Straits will never be secure while it lasts. Successive governments convinced themselves that an 'unstoppable green energy transition' meant access to fossil fuels was neither necessary nor desirable. That was always a fantasy, and now we're paying the price. Fossil fuels are still responsible for 90% of our energy needs. The Bondi massacre was a wake up call on social cohesion. The Iran war is a wake up call on national resilience. Dealing with both means recovering the self-belief needed for Australia to stay Australian. Time to face facts on energy.
