The coaches and parents who allow this to go on are the problem. Instead of teaching kids how to play the game the right way and show respect for the opponent they’re worried about getting viral attention. Embarrassing.

@Plasma_Legion Agreed. I love Metroid 1. I had it on my NES when I was a kid. But there are just so many what we would now call Quality of life problems that it is too much. Respawning with almost no health and having to farm for health with zero recharge spots was bad then and is bad now.

Starfield wasn't perfect, but some people did really like it. People who make videos and have audiences and such. They all said every time they said they liked it they got gigantic pushback from the people that didn't. They weren't allowed.

@hecubian_devil Oh no, in elementary school the fact that I was able to read way past the class lebel was nothing but punished. They would tell me it was good at first but soon enough it just became a problem because they wanted the class to be together.

@bhive003 @wiaard Also, gif comments are often referential of specific pieces of media, often ones from years in the past. It needs shared context. When speaking internationally, that context is often totally lost.
Also it is not always humor. It is more responding with emotion rather than words.
