People with #ADHD often worry that they’re lazy. Lazy people do a little work & think they should be winners. Winners work as hard as possible & still worry they're lazy.  If you’re working on your #ADHD , you’re the farthest thing from lazy—you’re winning. Keep that shit up 👊

So happy that this book is out after so much work! I'm also very touched by the kind words from @HowtoADHD in her acknowledgements 😊

@hubermanlab I've seen a proliferation of apps with music or frequencies claimed to boost/ameliorate some psychological variable (e.g., focus, anxiety, irritability). Would be interested in the theoretical mechanisms of action, as well as the efficacy vs. effectiveness of these

Parents need to know: There is no research demonstrating that staying OFF social media is harmful to kids. There are many reasons to let kids on, or keep them off social media, but don't feel pressured to give access for this reason. In fact, some of our data shows the most popular and socially competent kids are choosing to get off social media these days!

Check out our new paper reviewing the efficacy and safety of non-traditional treatments (i.e., not medication or psychotherapy) for childhood #ADHD

@adhdjesse Too few adult-oriented clinicians get any, let alone thorough, training in managing/assessing ADHD in adulthood. Most training programs still approach ADHD as a childhood problem, unfortunately.

Why are doctors and medical professionals still so misinformed about ADHD? It's not like there's a lack of studies on ADHD. Not trolling, I'm actually curious where the disconnect is—I assume many are acting in good faith, so why do so many believe outdated and debunked myths?

I’m writing a chapter on the intersectionality between ADHD & other stuff. (I.e. conditions/race/culture/gender/sexuality) so people understand our lived experience better. What would you want people to know? Some tweets may be quoted -- if so, @Real_Theresa will reach out!
