DILLONS DIRTY “ALLOWING TIME” ROAD DIARIES
On these dusty, nasty roads, things happen whether you’re ready or not. There’s a party you didn’t know about you didn’t get the invite, just the notification.
And yeah… that’s when you feel it. That slow twist of the knife. That quiet question: Did they not want me there Oh, I know it ain’t right. Knowing doesn’t stop the sting. Words can make a mockingbird forget it was born to sing. Lies can break a fragile heart. Doubt can crush dreams before they ever stand up straight.
And the world the world is hard on beautiful things. So hear this from a man who’s been dragged down more miles than most: You’re pretty & You’re smart. God didn’t rush when He made you. You are a work of art. So don’t stand there picking yourself apart, asking why He did it this way. Nothing about you needs fixing. It ain’t what you are, it’s what he isn’t.
I know it doesn’t feel fair. Hell, I can’t count the times I’ve been right there with you, watching the scales tip the wrong way and being told to smile anyway. Feeling like life isn’t fair? That’s not weakness that’s being human. It comes from hope that didn’t land, expectations that didn’t show up, and comparisons that never tell the whole damn story. You don’t deny it. You don’t drown in it. You acknowledge it, you accept it, and you don’t let resentment build a home in your chest. Life doesn’t run on fairness.
It runs on endurance. And here’s the hard truth most folks won’t say out loud: When someone takes your idea and makes it theirs, that is betrayal. That’s trust broken. That’s confidence stolen. That’s someone reaching into your pocket and walking away smiling. You shared something sacred a thought, a vision, a spark and they used it like it was always theirs. That kind of betrayal cuts deep. It brings anger. Shock. That hollow feeling where your voice should be. And yeah, in professional worlds, it’s unethical. Sometimes illegal. Always revealing.
The thing they can never steal:
Your execution. Your vision. Your future of ideas that haven’t even been born yet. A thief can copy a sentence. They can’t write the book you’re about to live. So you do this instead: You process the anger without letting it poison you. You assess the facts without losing your credibility. You speak clearly, professionally, without lowering yourself. You set boundaries like a man who’s learned the cost of access. And then you move forward. Not bitter. Not broken. Just sharper. Because betrayal doesn’t define you it exposes them. And me? I’ll get through it like I always do. One mile one man, at a time. One truth at a time. Letting time do what time always does sort the real from the fake.
Have a happy Sunday, December 21. With all the ups and downs, this is one of the best years I’ve ever had in my life. With all the lessons learned a good batter in different. I am grateful. I may only relate this year to 24 years ago when I had a spiritual awakening. Great love to all of you as we head out of this year and into anew. May all your dreams come, true 👉 Subscribe:

BREAKING: Texas A&M QB Miles O’Neill intends to enter the transfer portal.
O’Neill has served as Marcel’s back-up. He’s a big armed, mobile QB looking for a clearer path to immediate playing time.
I also think Brady Hart is emerging as QB2
Very curious to see where Miles ends up!
Pre-season No. 1 and heisman favorite mocking both their rivals for actually making the playoffs while they’re in the Cheeze-It Bowl.
Incredibly comical and embarrassing, especially being further into the coaching tenure than A&M.
CFP Selection Committee Chair Mack Rhoades on the Indiana vs Texas A&M discussion: "It was one of our longer discussions. Indiana, we gave them the edge defensively again and offensively as well. When you think of their body of work with wins at Oregon and Iowa. We certainly looked at A&M's win in South Bend and at Missouri. The committee talked about Missouri playing their third quarterback. Indiana found a way to find a way. Mendoza down the stretch was efficient. Those things gave Indiana the edge."
