@50ElevenTimes @NextRoundLive You wrote three sentences explaining why it wasn't a correction. That's usually how corrections are defended. The funniest part is 'calm down bro' coming from the guy who just wrote a paragraph explaining why he wasn't correcting someone. Lol have a good one Dude.

Wasn’t a correction, it was a fact associated with the conversation since you introduced something that didn’t have a direct correlation albeit indirect one. A correction would be Marshall wasn’t the he winningest team of the 90’s. See how that works? Again, calm down bro. Not that serious.

@50ElevenTimes @NextRoundLive I know what the post says. I made a comment bout Marshall being the winningest College Football team of the 90's. For some reason, you deemed it necessary to try and correct something that did not need correction.

@RealFrankFromFL Agreed. But him coming out and doing something like this, IMO, will help galvanize the vote behind another candidate. Preferably Fishback or Collins.

@RobGradyVO @_Gottalovezik This is really cool. I actually got to see him once, in Miami. It was right after he released Beauty Behind the Madness. I was hoping for quite a bit of the mixtape stuff, but he mostly did the new album with a 10 minute Mixtape set. Was Still dope af though

@WISCO_19 @StraightFlorida The difference between 105° in Wisconsin and 105° in Florida is about 40 pounds of humidity and three existential crises.

Next week Florida gets hit with a certified heat index hate crime — 105 degrees of pure swamp steam pressure-cooked under high pressure. We’re talking so humid your first step outside feels like walking into a boiling towel. Face sweat so bad you’re blind before you hit the mailbox. Swampass level: terminal. Even the gators are sweating so bad they’re hiding underwater just to stay dry. Mosquitoes having heat strokes mid-bite. Things are going to get a little toasty! If I melt into the driveway, just hose me into the neighbor’s yard. No funeral, no service. Just water. 🥵💦
NWS Climate Prediction Center@NWSCPC

There is an increased risk of extreme heat across much of Florida, including Miami, next week and into next weekend tied to mid-level high pressure. Heat index values may exceed 105 deg F. Little overnight relief expected with record high minimum temperatures possible.

2004 Barry Bonds (.362 AVG, .609 OBP, .812 SLG, 1.422 OPS, 135 Hits, 45 HR's, 101 RBI's, 373 AB's, 232 BB's (120 IBB), 41 SO's, MVP-7th of career, SS, AS). Dude had more HR's than Strike-outs that season, and had roughly 5.5 walks per SO. This is the single greatest season I have ever seen.

Let's stop pretending that MLB fans are altruistic in this debate. Most fans aren't evaluating salary caps through the lens of what's best for baseball. They're evaluating them through the lens of what's best for their team. That's human nature. If the current system benefits your club, you're far more likely to defend it. If it disadvantages your club, you're far more likely to want change. That's why I always pay attention to who someone roots for before I pay attention to their argument. In my experience, a disproportionate number of the loudest anti-cap voices come from fans of big-market teams. That isn't a coincidence. The current system has provided those organizations with advantages for decades. And those advantages are real. Big-market clubs benefit from larger television deals, larger populations, greater sponsorship opportunities, higher attendance ceilings, stronger brand recognition, and significantly greater revenue streams. Those financial advantages eventually become competitive advantages. That doesn't mean big-market teams are wrong for using the resources available to them. Any organization would do the same. The problem is pretending that the playing field is naturally level when it clearly is not. The salary-cap debate exists because many fans believe baseball's economic structure creates competitive imbalances that don't exist to the same degree in other major North American sports. Supporters of a cap aren't necessarily trying to punish successful franchises. They're trying to create a system where every fan base enters the season believing it has a realistic chance to compete. And that's the part many anti-cap advocates miss. Fans don't care about preserving the status quo. Fans care about hope. They care about meaningful competition. They care about believing that if their team is smart, develops talent, and makes good decisions, it can realistically contend for a championship. If the economic realities were reversed and the Pirates, Rays, Brewers, Marlins, and Guardians were the financial giants of the sport, I suspect many of today's anti-cap voices would suddenly discover the virtues of parity. That's not because they're dishonest. It's because people naturally support systems that benefit them. The question isn't whether fans are acting in their own interests. Of course they are. The question is whether baseball should continue operating under a system that grants some organizations structural advantages before a single game is played.

@ciebiera_m @uscfan981 You have proof he was on the gas or are you just blowing gas? It's amazing how many people speak about Bonds' steroid use as an established fact when the case was never conclusively proven. Innocent until PROVEN guilty.

MLB.com’s recent mock draft has the Marlins selecting power-hitting INF Ace Reece from Mississippi State. This season in 60 games, Reece hit .328 with 22 HRs, 72 RBI, 21 2B, striking out 60 times, and 41 times.
